Gonna jam this again, but I think it gets around my main gripe with the debut (the weaker songs sounding like b-tier versions of the stronger songs) so tentatively agreed!

Exactly, it is more consistent than the first one, which is always a major plus. That one was a low 3.5, this one is a high 3.5, but that is all the same to Sput in the grand scheme of things (when you're just a regular user).

They aimed to do a more direct, to the point album and I think the result speak for itself, but dudes, that nocturnal atmosphere of the debut is unmatchable, even if A Taste has become my favorite track of them, topping I'm Tied to You.
