lol In 2017, I think, I asked a crush what a her favorite punk band was and she said this band and I don't know if I ever recovered from that. I think I heard the 2017 LP and not much else, plus I don't remember it well. Are these guys worth getting into?

I feel it is the first time they have shown all the styles they do well, though it is hard to equal Days Are Gone for me. It could have been overly long and have a lack of continuity, but it isn’t and doesn’t. Iconic album in my opinion.

Been meaning to take a sit and listen to Days Are Gone for a while now. Does it show a variety of songs like this or is that one more focused?

Days Are Gone is more focused on the upbeat indie pop/R&B style, but it is full of great songs. Something To Tell You has more 70s rock influences.

days are gone and something to tell you are both unsatisfying and somehow good in equal measure, days are gone probably more the latter. I'll check this out. one of those bands that had to grow on me circumstantially or I was gonna lose my mind. "you never knew" from something to tell you is an absolute slammer

enjoyed this review. i dont feel too strongly about the album, and im not sure they will ever top days are gone (which i dont see as a masterpiece, just a really strong and consistent debut).

there are probably a few half-baked ideas on this one, but i appreciate them trying new things and having a variety of sounds.

"you never knew" is great but it was about the only song i liked on something to tell you

“nothings wrong” was good too

this album isn’t bad and I don’t dislike the band, but they’re so.....old fashioned. isn’t “man from the magazine” basically “this flight tonight”
