I completely agree on that. Most bands usually write their most inspired work first 2-3 albums though,
then become either over commercialized or stale. "Yield" for example, i've always thought is
their best album 3rd to Ten and Vs, yet it's their fifth consecutive studio release. They never
repeat the same sound twice, yet remain always solid (Vitalogy being the let-down), always stay true
to their fans and one can tell they're proud of how they are and enjoy the music as much

Vitalogy has great songs, but it's best to pretend that "Immortality" is the closer on it. Riot Act would be my least fave.

Jamming this atm. "Go" works extremely well as an opener.

Only the singles on Vitalogy are worth it
And yeah Go's a jam. Admittedly i didn't like this album when i first heard it.

Listening to Vitalogy can be quite the hopscoth game :P
I'm thinking about doing a list on my fave McCready leads, as he's inspired me as an amateur guitarist.

"Indifference" is a cool closer.
Only Ten remains. Might relisten to the Avocado Album and this (at least) before I do that.

Interesting way to go about it. TEN is certainly the classic all on it's own, especially when compared
to other Seattle rock releases of the time. Don't expect it to sound like this however

^I've already jammed it. Left it for last precisely because I know
how great it is. I've pretty much gone from the band's "weaker" albums
to their "stronger" ones, as opposed to when I first went through the
discog. Might've left out a few songs that time though, since I relied on
Youtube streams.
This time around, I'm also taking into account details I took for
granted. So yeah, I look forward to hearing Ten with this new
perspective.

This just jams so hard, kinda sad that their newer albums are just so middle of the road and boring.
