In theory I can get behind that - 4. Best in Show 5. Raise Me Up 6. Lose My Mind - they're probably the least interesting songs even though I still personally enjoy the hell out of them. Glad you're on board!

Yeah it is lol. Like I said earlier itt, part of me wishes it continued into a full blown gospel/soul song but it's also perfect as a trick/decoy of an outro.

Yep, prob my fave passage as well. Was going to note that a while ago but I kept thinking it was a false intro instead of an outro.

That's the best moment but the best song is Hair of the Dog. That thing rules from start to end.

metanoia is a series of 7 eps, or one 22 song collection. eps were written, produced and released monthly. an exercise in not over-thinking anything and meeting deadlines, makes for some songs that wouldn't otherwise exist for sure. i prefer it as the 22-track album, standouts for me be: hell?, fear, interloper.
monster is more progressive, kind of baroque-y. 'i know you know' is a very cool tune, 'better and better' too. 'in the sun' is nice.

okay cool, so my internet/bandcamp is not broken. good to know. freaked the shit out of me cuz it sounded exactly like a song that has been converted from CD with huge errors.

I like how even 'Raise Me Up', which begins like your standard uplifting U2 song, turns into something so enveloping and dramatic. Judah has a knack for making everything sound important.

Hair of the Dog was good enough to make me feel like I need to spin this a few more times

I think this is a great album but I understand some of the tentative responses. A lot of these tracks are incredible, but there's definitely something holding this back from being a 4.5, whether it be some strange songwriting choices or a lack of dynamics, idk the words
This definitely deserve the attention it's getting, I'm just hoping this is a sound that grows in time!

This album is pretty cool, but the lyrics kinda drag it down for me. They're so repetitive, and maybe that's what he was going for with the whole "spiraling addiction" concept but to me it stops it from being something that just blows me away.
