New album is quite solid, though I think they played it a bit safe (even by TBDM standards). But tbf, I guess that's to be expected with this being the first post-Trevor record. Gotta reestablish the foundation going forward



With that said, Brian's vox are fantastic and the last 4 songs tear it up (especially Transcosmic Blueprint... that fucking solo!). I should have my rev up within the next few days

I like verminous more than the new one, but I think verminous is my favorite bdm album. I’m in the minority on that for sure.

Pretty wild how similar Brian sounds to Trevor. Honestly if I didn't know anything about this band and you played me songs from the latest album vs. prior ones, I definitely would think they were the same vocalist.
