I’m copying this sentiment from myself elsewhere but was thinking about the fact that this dude’s second album ended on a huge tribute (“a message for Austin”) to his keyboardist/musician friend who had passed away a year prior and how this song “I love Louis cole” on this album is like him saying “I’m not gonna make that mistake again! I’m gonna appreciate my friends while they’re here! I love my musician friend Louis cole!” and thinking about that makes me cry and also the song about the dead friend Austin Peralta makes me cry too
