The new song is pretty lame compared to the other stuff of their I've heard.

Love this album.. They pull off their new direction into pop and disco-like stuff incredibly well.... This equals everything they've done, and surpasses most of it. Supermassive Black Holes is great, I love it...but its probably the weakest song on the album. Its not that SBH is bad...Its that the rest is just THAT good. Going to see muse in november now! In newcastle, in case you were interested.

Some good songs, many bad, another bad buy in my books. Good review though.

This is either the single greatest video of all time, or it's the single worst.

I'm not sure if I was supposed to laugh throughout that entire video or not...
Anywho, KoC pretty much kicks arse, so I'm hoping to get this soon.

Good review. I haven't bought the album, (mainly because I forgot about it) but I'll likely buy it soon. I've heard a few tracks and liked them quite a lot: I do see your point about it sounding different from other Muse songs. I can't say it took me long to get into the tracks but it did take more than one listen. Sounds like a decent album.

The video for "Knights of Cydonia" is better than the song.

Ridiculous video for a song that's not exactly a masterpiece. It's just decent.

Love the album, although I can't quite get into Knights of Cydonia. I'm sure I'll come around after a couple listens.

Ok at first I thought my rating was a wee bit generous, however I've given it time to sink in and I believe it is a genuine classic.

Although it's kind of neat they're (finally) changing direction somewhat, the results are pretty abominable, and they're still far too grandoise for anyone's good.

This review makes me want this album really bad now. I love the Nights of Cydonia song. It's got a futuristic midevil sound and feeling. I heard this other song but can't remember the name, but it was an awsome song as well.

This, in my opinion, is some of the worst music my ears have been subjected to.
