Jeet if you like the guitar work, all their albums will appeal to you. They make Protest the Hero sound like child's play. These guys sometimes approach Sikth tier techiness

They're more techy than SikTh tbh.

It's a tough call, I was about to say they were more tech than Sikth but then I stopped.

Drumming is definitely more techy than sikth
Bass is the only instrument that's not techy in destrage. also bass player just left. he was a fun dude, will be missed live

Federico Paulovich is a goddamn monster. Dude is possibly the best drummer in metal right now.
And yeah it's sad about the bass player leaving. Dude's been with the band since the beginning in like 2005. Twelve Foot Ninja's bassist also quit the band, which means my two favourite modern bands are both bass player-less.

Not that it's a contest, but I highly disagree with SikTH being less techy.

I highly disagree with it not being a contest, cos techy metal IS a goddamn contest!
But yeah, I struggle to play any songs by either band, and I don't know anyone who doesn't, so let's just say they're both techy af and leave it at that.
(Destrage is more techy though)

Underrated album, honestly.

The drum fill/solo from G.O.D. is beastly. Dude's got chops

"About That" is such a complete banger, holy hell.

Everyone tells me I'm listening to the wrong album from these guys, but I love it

Last 3 albums have been incredibly consistent

last 2 were consistent but unspectacular. the previous 2 were pretty spectacular.
|
| |
an extremely overlooked album from a highly capable band, a lot of this reminds me of old Protest the hero meets old SikTh, highly engaging and fantastic instrumentation from all band members
|
| |
this is cool, idk about their other albums

This is maybe their third best album. I definitely like it more than AMTNE.
|

I got either this or Are You Kidding as my #1
