Holy shit this is incredible. And so diverse. I'm not even halfway through (at Echo Flower pt.2 atm) and there's already been black, shoegaze, emo, jazz, prog and ambient here. Damn hope the rest of the album keeps its momentum.

And it did. Wow this crashed right into my top 10 AOTY at first listen. Planting a big fat 4.5 on this puppy. If this is a grower I can easily see this end in my top 5 for the year.

Hawks. The vocals on this are brutal. Ugh. I love the music but the vox...so over the top. I don't remember their debut being like this. I will have to go back and check it.
