i can’t quite put my finger on what i don’t like about this but it’s either the bratty attitude, the overt slathers of cynicism is that it sounds like it dated yesterday

honestly this chick seems edgy as fuck and i 100% get why people are hating on this, but i actually enjoy this so far. she's like a darker, more hip hop oriented Lorde. her voice can be grating, especially in the quieter moments, but the production on this thing is ace.

this is my first time ever exposed to this artist or any discussion around her, and the first thing that came to mind was lorde. it's just so obvious to me. i mean musically there are a ton of differences but vocally, eh.

Lorde can sing tho whereas I'm not sure if billie can actually sing or if she can just whisper good

i think it's probably the latter lol. the production obv lends a bit of that. i'm noticing she sounds nothing like lorde in some of these songs, but in others they sound very similar to me
