yeah, that's really frustrating. this band is a bit inconsistent but they have IT. the singer's clean hooks elevate this to another level. real shame they didn't blow up cause they're 100 times better than all of those bands you mentioned.

Yeah, that’s such a weird aspect of this genre. Like I wouldn’t care that much for this genre, but they don’t even try - it’s just a cluster fuck of random phrases that shouldn’t be near each other

It's a unique genre in that is has the best of metal and the worst of metal in equal measure, all in one weird ass package somehow. And the quality varies so wildly from band to band. The 90s were truly an interesting time

Yeah, excluding Metallica and Slayer, nu-metal is what got me into not just metal, but music in general. 90s/early 2000s are my nostalgia time
