nobody's disgruntled, just bewildered at why u choose to torture urself

"no one really cares what you do, it doesnt affect the way other people consume music.
besides that, your comparison about death metal is trash because youre talking about listening outside of a genre."
Tbh I meant to put "a death metal band" but oh well.
"there are plenty of hip hop heads who want to listen to new hip hop so they check the new drake. it doesnt mean theyre gonna like it just because theyre hip hop heads. it also doesnt mean theyre gonna hate it just because its drake."
Darius is not a hip hop head lmao and he's def gonna hate it because he hates drake
"the notion of getting disgruntled because someone listened to an album is hilarious"
I'm not disgruntled it's just pointless for him to check this. He literally said in another thread "can't wait to listen to the new drake album so I can 1 it"

The notion of listening to Drake and expecting something different other than what he's done for years is the real funny part. Especially when you've hated everything he's put out.
|
| |
Yeah this nestles into his discog perfectly. One of his least adventurous albums he's ever made. That said, I love it

I've been hearing cuts off this album everywhere since it dropped and I love it. In My Feelings is the one that gets everyone hype. It should be his next single.
|
| |
gonna be the song of the summer
it's funny how he's still singing about the same girl's from like So Far Gone lol. no Drake, I doubt Keshia Chante still cares about u
|
| |
Okay so I checked In My Feelings and this LP is another hard skip. Gotta listen to Hold On we're goin home 10 times to wash out that basic bitch track.
|
| |
Yeah there are many chances for hits off this, I forget the one that I felt that way before. Tbh it very well could have been In My Feelings.
When I'm Upset dropped, I wasn't a big fan of it but I love it now. I'm too lazy to check the original but I know he must've re-recorded some of it because of the x line

This review sucks my ass

Some of this is really good but the majority of this is just stuff he's already done (a lot better) before.
Also Fantano made a really good point about not wanting to hear any tough guy bars from Drake after he slithered his way out of the Pusha T beef.
"Servin' up a pack (servin' up a pack)
Niggas pullin' gimmicks 'cause they scared to rap, ayy
Funny how they shook, ayy, got these niggas shook
Pullin' back the curtain by myself, take a look, ayy
I'm a bar spitta, I’m a hard hitta
Yeah I’m light-skinned, but I'm still a dark nigga"
Totally Drake

The way he says
"ayy
I'm a bar spitta, I’m a hard hitta
Yeah I’m light-skinned, but I'm still a dark nigga"
Is 🔥🔥🔥

As much as I love Side A, Nonstop and Elevate are complete duds. Feel like both should've had a feature or something.
|
| |
The first Elevate is pre weak so is Survival. I dig Nonstop though

Survival is great imo. That beat is hypnotic. I could listen to it for hours. Plus that Mt. Rushmore line is some peak braggadocio right there. Only problem with the song is that its not as good as his usual album intros. He spoiled us with Legend, Tuscan Leather, Keep The Family Close, Free Smoke etc.

Nonstop is nice, I'm Upset is the real dud from side A
