Same except the choir, orchestra, riff patterns and A WOMAN.

Yeah, same except not the same at all. This might be similar to their previous stuff, but just a few good listens will prove that Queen of Time is at least a few steps forward.

I still like Under the Red Cloud more at this point, and it's definitely not better than Silent Waters. Still damn good though and they are on a roll.

Yeah I like Under the Red Cloud more at this point too but it's early. This will never touch Silent Waters or Tales though, I've come to that conclusion pretty quickly lol.

A lot of melodeath bands are really killing it right now, Insomnium, Be'Lakor, Amorphis, At The Gates, Paradise Lost. We just need Amon Amarth to come back and release their best album and everything will be in order.

Gmork jam that Autumn Leaves album I just rated it's amazing. Lots of Insomnium/Dark Tranquillity vibes.

Another quality album

But not sufficiently better than previous albums that those who say this is the only album theyve enjoyed recently sounds a ridiculous comment to me.

It has many moments that are very Elegy era.

For me though I return to Amorphis for tracks like Wrong Direction, just pure bliss.

I really like The Bee, Wrong Direction, Amongst Stars, Grain of Sand, As Mountains Crumble

Daughter of Hate and Golden Elk pretty good too.

I mean its all good, but for me Eclipse and Circle are their best with Joutson, not Silent Waves. Seems so cliché – heavier, so its better. Nup.

Shaman however I cant get enough of on that album.

Cant believe how consistently good these guys are, but this one for me is behind (Not in order) Elegy, Tounela, Eclipse, Circle – so probably my 5th favourite, UARC very close behind this. But man I love Am Universum too!

Message in the Amber won me over first. It helped when my so walked in, just as the choir was low-key singing the theme, and she thought it was oh so pretty.

That's romance for ya.

Golden Elk is the best one, yeah. The only one that reaches the quality of UTRC's top tracks tbh.

Gotta say I kind look forward to hanging out on a river bank.

I suppose my flesh will have to be torn from my bones, but eh can't be worse than reading the news.
