Heard Emerald Rush, this record should be great judging from that song. I love ambient records with a beat

Every once in a while I enjoy these sort of ambient idm albums. Considering the avg this had atm, I should check this out.

This is great, first three tracks were good but lost my attention at times. After that I really like how ambient it gets. I'll try Immunity after this and see how it compares, since that seems to be considered his best.

What does perfected even mean? I’d argue immunity was more unique than this anyway overall .

The fact that Zak can stomach, dare I say enjoy it, is the most significant accolade in my books though

this is very good...had to look the meaning of the IDM genre here tbh, I think is a pretty pretentious genre imo : (and I felt really stupid looking into it lol) but I liked this album a lot. need to relisten to it in full attention to give a proper rating.

Yeah IDM is the worst fucking genre tag ever devised. Stinks of somebody not understanding ‘dance’ as a whole. I have no doubt it’s an Americanism.

Yeah It’s pretty fucking affected whenever the term intelligent is included in a genre tag (hip hop being another ...or the only other one I can think of off the top of my dome Tbh) , implying that non intelligent dance music isn’t deliberately so or that listening in sober solitude of a dark soundproof room with overpriced hi fidelity noise cancelling headphones is somehow superior to piping some disco biscuits and hitting the dance floor for 6 hours straight with a steady ‘simpleton’ beat that claims one of your IQ points every 3 hours
