"the same one-octave melodies"

1:56 in fake lighting, note transitions from a c3 to an e4

why was my comment removed when all I said was that it'd be nice to listen to this in a log cabin by the fire, eating stew and watching the snow fall outside?

OP- care to explain?

Ayyy treb with another hot take.

I get where you're coming from, but the condescending tone makes this read to me like you're passive-aggressively getting revenge. You make it sound like everyone bar their drummer just phoned it in, and responded to it with a solidly half-assed review.

In any case, you bring up some interesting points. I mostly enjoyed what I've heard of this so far, but I also don't treat the refinement of my taste in music as much of a priority these days.

I hated Keep You at first and it ended up growing from a 2.0 to a 4.5 for me, so who knows.

He is reviewing just for the sake of it. I accept every reviewer opinions in this forum except this guy, his thoughts are fuckin childish and doesn't make sense.

I doubt if he actually listens to the records more than once.

He rated Swell 4.5 and gave this a 2.3 like wtf.

Yeah I get what you're saying, but not your point about it. For example when I'm not listening to metal you'll generally find me balls deep in a flemenco album. I'm not particularly fluent with flamenco but it's not going to stop me reviewing it in the slightest. The old saying is you should always try new things, but I've seen Trebor review music across the spectrum.

Reviews with a fresh look are interesting.
Don't worry to much about it, most records you like are getting farted on on this site.
