Yeah, coming back to this, it's pretty much its own thing, can't think of anything similar, it's really well executed. Most of the time I think they are playing backwards.

Yeah revisited this specifically and was impressed. Their story reminds me of The Shaggs with the whole forcing themselves to learn their instruments and this band is what happened minus the whole family abuse ofc
something to be said about creativity correlating with not knowing anything tho...studies show when kids are 3-5 their creativity peaks and then sharply declines for the rest of ur life and the whole unconventional approach to songwriting they take reminds me a bit of the chaotic nature of a child at their most creative
