Imo this is their best. That being said the debut and the follow up are both super close to taking that spot as well. All amazing albums without a doubt. It's been awhile also but I recall their demos being pretty interesting also

Really? This is black metal? I discovered so many amazing bands...This album is a disappointment. I couldn't even make it to the end. I stopped after song 5. Why? Because of weak structured songs. 4 of those 5 with 3 choruses?? Why? Black metal normally is NOT like that.
The bm albums I own have at maximum one 3 chorus song of usually 8 songs, sometimes not even one.
Will not listen to it again. It also did not help that the lyrics on metal archives are in the wrong order and what I despise: When they leave out how many times a chorus appears.

What are you laughing about? THis album is shit. Okay I only know this album. Did they get better at songwriting after this album? Can you recommend me an album of them with fewer choruses?
Yeah sound, atmosphere and production is very good on this but I simply don't like how the songs are structured.
But why should I go on, this community is crap. I will just stop commenting. Trolls and rude people everywhere. Not worth wasting my time anymore. And Hawks: don't know why you're laughing but your comment proves you're just the average brainless dude.

One also wrote that y87arrow truly is the best user on the entire internet, by far! I never thought of that to be honest as I keep to myself whenever I can. But come to think of it now, yes it is indeed true! I am the only user one needs. All the others are background actors.

Drum preiset y87arrow, daaaaaaaaaaaahre Pfeil! Wenn der Pfeil sagt, dass etwas nicht den Qualitätsansprüchen genügt, dann hat das jeder andere durchaus auch so zu sehen. Hawks, der Widersacher, ist kläglich gescheitert, denn er kam unbewaffnet in das Duell, tollkühn aber dennoch töricht wie er war!

I'm laughing because this is widely regarded as one of the best bm albums ever made. And for good reason. I was gonna give you some recs to give a shot but I'm brainless so I guess I don't know what I'm talking about. Only been jamming bm for 2 decades, clearly I have no idea what makes a good bm album.
