Did anyone else notice Sink was nice enough to hyperlink to the bands he is talking about in this review? Find a band he namedrops in it and you will find it links to their Sputnik page.
|
| |
With that helpful link, I can finally see what all the fuss is about with this "Pantera" band.
Edit: In the section you talk about Linkin Park, Korn and Limp Bizkit, you hyperlink Linkin Park and Korn but skip Limp Bizkit. What's the happs' with that, chief?
Edit 2: Okay I see why, you hyperlinked Limp Bizkit earlier in your review, my mistake!

Dear trolls:
Don't attack me for the views of the artists I review.

Dear Sinktrap:
In my teen years, I discovered and fell and love with hip-hop and rap-rock. I was also, for a time, a "libertarian", though never a anarcho-capitalist, and ultimately, I settled into Objectivism via the fiction of Terry Goodkind, Ayn Rand and the non-fiction writing of both Rand and members of the Ayn Rand Institute because I found it to be the most rational and consistent philosophy.
|
| |
seeing ayn rand and rational in the same sentence is still hilarious

"Don't attack me for the views of the artists I review."
It's your political views that they're meme'ing, not those of the artists lol.
|
| |
Not just political.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand BackWordz. The message is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of anarchocapitalist philosophy most of the lyrics will go over a typical listener’s head. There’s also BackWordz’s anti-SJW outlook, which is deftly woven into their lyricisation- their personal philosophy draws heavily from Breitbart literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these lyrics, to realise that they’re not just catchy they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike BackWordz truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the message in BackWordz’s existential catchphrase “all real, no fake,” which itself is a cryptic reference to Rand’s epic Atlas Shrugged. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Eric July’s genius unfolds itself in their earbuds. What fools.. how I pity them. XD
And yes, by the way, i DO have a BackWordz tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the ladies’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid B)

I daresay most IQ's are not within close proximity of my own, nor does it appear that the wretched spawn of Zac De La Rocha are either...
Bah! All this bantering makes me peckish for a scone!
