I trust you klap (though the Lucid 4 is a bit concerning ;-P ), I'm just always a tad skeptical when an album gets a lot of hype here but has almost no buzz elsewhere.

I didn't check this review until after a couple listens and was a bit surprised to see Moon so hyped in the thread. Not that it isn't a great song, I just would have picked a few others as standouts.

I'd be pretty shocked if this wasn't a solid 4 or higher for you Boney. Just listen on headphones.

yeah i could never just trust the one website i spend most of my time with talking music, that would be silly

Well, plane, though I know you're of course just poking fun, my taste deviates enough from the general user base in enough respects that I don't just blindly trust Sputhype. From what I can tell though this lies in the sphere of things for which I do share the taste of Sput users, so it is probably fine.

Dude, sput is no more guilty of hyping their favorites than anyone and there really is no sputcore as much as people like to joke about it

the taste preferences here are always morphing around the current active users which is part of the reason I love this place and continue check out albums from varied genres on a regular basis

There certainly is Sputcore, you've probably just been around long enough - or your taste conforms to it enough (not that there would be anything wrong with that!) - that you don't notice it.
