Their best album after Shogun. This is so good. Matt's clean and screamed vocals never have sounded better. The new drummer is a powerhouse, he's definitely a keeper. I really like the amalgamation of all those different metal styles and how they made them so catchy and thrilling.

the vocals are definitely the weakest link here along with a couple songs that are kinda duds. instrumentally this is fantastic though

I think the cool thing about opinions is that not everyone has the same ones. Still, I'm surprised at all the divisiveness here. I guess those who dislike something are more likely to speak.
Anyways, if you hated this guy's voice from the get-go, I guess all the instrumentation in the world can't save the album for you. I like his voice a hell of a lot better than M. Shadows, but I still really dig Fallen and Evil. Instrumentation is king for me.
