I unapologetically love Anthems for the Damned, and I think is a great follow up to Amalgamut. My biggest gripe with it it's how terrible is the track order but a slight re-arrangement and suddenly there's a classic Filter album.

Nice wall of sound on this record. I'm glad the anniversary edition includes Trip Like I do because it might be their best track
I've also tried the follow-up and the Angels record but couldn't finish them, really seems like a one-hit (record) wonder with these/this guy

I'd say The Amalgamut is mostly solid, maybe aside from the two final tracks.
