best part is he doesn't give a shit about what so-called fans like you want from him, so feel free to piss off if you don't like it
if all you have to contribute to any discussion of his music is your drawn-out opinion of his post-90s material and how much you don't like it, why bother coming out of the woodwork to whine about it when you are in the minority here.

except you quite literally are in the minority on this site, you fail to comprehend that immensely
again, it's fine to say you dislike something, but i don't know if being a raging cunt 24/7 to people who disagree is really going to cut it

on this site... illusions of grandier much?
its just his fake scott walker shit that sucks. and that frank wright comedy album, that was shite too. the rest is quite spectacular. even the 80's sax stuff

"on this site... illusions of grandier much?"
says the person who wishes for an artist to remain creatively stagnant to appease to those who are unable to accept change because it goes outside their comfort zone
maybe you should listen to Pop Song, which actively mocks people like you who clamor for something easier and figure out for yourself he had no intention of being accessible in the slightest bit and anyone who is surprised by his motives for going the path he did should really pay more attention to the people he worked with and was influenced by. God forbid he does something you aren't comfortable with.

pop song... another subpar effort. but he has made many accessible records since that. thats just another false narrative.
so is the first day accessible? world citizen? is holger czukay conventional? if you would agree that he is not, why are brilliant trees and p&p such a beautiful records? you can surround yourself with unconventional and still make good records.
IMO, manafon & blem are extremely lazy efforts. keith rowe's prepared guitar pieces, as an example, are simply half assed. and I just cant listen to this bottom dwelling dirge. its a bad place to be, mentally, spiritually. it has nothing to do with comfort, its about getting and being healthy, which he seems to not be interested at all.
