[2] but I also really like "Too Weird to Live" a lot

It has taken me over 10 years, but I am starting to think this might be just as good as Fever. The trade offs of singing between Ross and Brandan add such a great layer. The songs are all so interesting and bright. I really wish the band hadn't split in half after this.

ya, Ryan Ross wrote it. great work. Ryan Ross wanted to change the band to this style i believe.
I used to have a celebrity crush on brendon urie lol It was only later that I realized that the person who really understood music well in this band was Ryan Ross.

What even happened to the rest of the band? Did they end up making music still or nah? Never really heard from them again

Yeah I do enjoy the first album a little and I think Ryan Ross was the main force behind that record too.

"What even happened to the rest of the band? Did they end up making music still or nah? Never really heard from them again"
They never worked together again, because of the difference in style two members left, Brendon Urie was later forced to write his own songs, and a few years later the drummer also left. Panic has been a “one man band” since then.
I haven't followed them for a long time.

ah sorry.
No. Ryan Ross is doing pretty well right now. He seems to have become a music producer. He released some independent singles and cooperation works in the last years because sometimes his instagram post appeared in my feed. But he and Brendon never seemed to connect. I don't know what happned to John and Spencer.

Honestly, Brendon Urie is professional. He was not good at songwriting, but he got it done. If he couldn't write Vices & Virtues back then, he wouldn't be around today.
When Ryan just left, Panic disappeared for 2 years, and the first time they decided to play a show again, they actually went to my hometown, and I remember him saying on stage, "I wrote this new song myself." I felt he was under quite a lot of pressure.
Also featuring my very silly teen fangirl story, after that show Brendon said to me, "I saw you in the crowd on stage". I was super calm and expressionless and I didn't reply anything mainly because my brain was already short-circuited and language problem of mine. I remembered I jumped and ran all the way home, my mom scolded me for coming home late and then asked why I kept smiling like an idiot, hahaha.

The Young Veins - Take a Vacation!
Ryan and Jon Walker went on to start a new band called The Young Veins. Released and toured for only a single album before calling it quits. It used the same studio/producer as pretty. odd. I believe and continues in more of this style with Ryan as lead singer. It is an okay listen, but not nearly as interesting (odd) as this.
