That's what I thought. But compared to the new SLayer album, this guy is pouring his heart and soul and painful teenage memories into his performance. Makes me appreciative.

Love Like Winter is probably the best song on the album.

Well, its lyrics are pretty terrible but its got an amazing verse, and the chorus is great.

With Davey I've come to accept this. I don't know why but to me his voice has always been very mediocre.

His voice is strong, I understand that, but it has a very generic ring to it. He sounds the same on pretty much every song they've ever recorded and sometimes it seems like hes really forcing his voice out, and it takes away from the song.

Yeah. I've started listening to this album less then I used to. mynameischan is right. they didn't really put that much effort into this album.

This cd was originally gonna be a gift for my girlfriend, but things kinda crashed so I kept it for myself >_>
for the most part this album was kind of a waste of 13 dollars for me.
I only liked maybe 3 tracks at the most, and I cannot stand davey's screaming.
Love like winter is a really good song though.
In my opinion, sing the sorrow is much better

Davey and the band repeat on how much effort they put into the album in interviews(trust me i watched and read a lot) and for you guys(mynameischan and teen_rocker and a lot of others) to say that they didnt put much effort in it is a total shame. It may seem like lyricaly and instrumently they didnt put much effort but i guess its the change of the way they want to sing or play.

I don't entirely agree with The Missing Frame being a standout track on the album, but I totally agree with you that Love Like Winter is the best song on the album.

I thought Decemberunderground was a great release. Though not quite as good as Sing the Sorrow (and really cannot be compared to AFI's older albums), I don't understand why people are hating on this album.

Affilction is pretty cool. Missing Frame is my fav though.

while miss murder and killcaustic are awsome songs, i found this album extremely depressing and as always is very suicidal
