Lot of good songwriting on this, but gets on my nerves how strictly it teeter-totters between odd number track mournful ballad / even number track muted rocker for the entire tracklist.

Feels so schematic it tanks the mood

doesn't bother me much because of just how muted most of the rockers are/the overall intimacy of the performance, but alternative tracklists anyone?
