I'm aware of this, I'm just saying that it's the closest thing to a hip hop album that I personally have ever listened to front to back intentionally
That said the guy is basically rapping over beats and post-punk basslines, it's not exactly that far gone from hip hop in its approach.

This being someone's idea of hip hop is real sad. Mods are absolutely more on the post punk/electropunk spectrum for me, biting, rapid fire spoken word aside. The delivery is totally unrap like for me and much more like poetry. Not even really like grime.
