After letting this gather (proverbial) dust for months I've been getting back into it hard lately, so much top-level indie on here and "Sick File" is such a rejuvenating blast of noise.

Rated n' ranked for the heck of it:

5/5: Backwash > Sick File > Wrong

4.5/5: Last Word = Slow Worm

4/5: Might = Web in Front > Toast

3.5/5: Hate Paste > You and Me > Fat

3/5: Plumb Line

2.5/5: Learo, You're a Hole

No, no, no - I refuse to let you 2.5 the best song on this album

That build up man, the 'my point in VIEW, MY POINT IN PART', it's such a sing along song.

Cmon Dyl we agree on most things

Great buildup agreed, musically it's one of the stronger tracks on here so a 2.5 might be a bit too harsh but the chorus annoys the heck out of me... and that chorus dominates the song until the crescendo begins :/

It's cool my dude I get that with a few tracks. Glad this album is getting some attention tho, one of my all time fav 90s indie albums

I wish more songs on here got the kind of love that "Web in Front" does. It's the "Dramamine" of this album for me - they're both wonderful songs, but they're also by far the most heralded from their respective albums and I feel like there are superior tracks on both Long Drive and Icky Mettle.

Also both the opening tracks on their respective bands' debut albums, so maybe that has something to do with it?

Ive never jammed this album, I just the Mallrats soundtrack in the 90s and Web in Front was on it and it rules obviously.

I'll concede I was a bit hard on "Learo" and probably should've given it a 3 instead of a 2.5

Not much else I can say other than that 3.0 = GOOD 😇

I really like the vocalist but nothing stood out too much for me. The first track is a jam though
