I wouldn't call them affect(at)ions tbh, he's been using the same delivery for over a decade, they're just pretty banal by this point .
Altho I'm actually fuckin diggin this to some extent it's made me a very conflicted man

I dig it. Definitely their best for sure. The new lineup helped drastically in terms of song writing. The grooves are strong af.

Yeah, lyrics are still up to Emmure standards. Didn't really expect that to change.

the song where he tells us over and over again how he doesn't give a fuck is yuck though

Bonus points for being unintentionally hilarious sometimes (second track in particular) but yeah this is pretty bad.

If this album had consisted entirely of tracks like Ice Man Confessions, Call Me Ninib, Natural Born Killer, and Russian Hotel Aftermath, Emmure would've finally crafted a legitimately good album.
The instrumentation on this album is pretty great. But Frankie is such a god awful vocalist, and an even worse lyricist.
Josh Travis deserves so much better than Frank Palemeri and Jerry Roush.
Would love to see him get back to When Knives Go Skyward one day.

Yeah dude, they got a winning formula in their hands but Frankie gets in his own damn way

I don't get why everybody hates Frankie's voice, he's literally the only vocalist I think sounds good when he just speaks lmao. Plus his lows and highs are pretty good. Oh well, can't please everybody
