Peacemaker is amazing. I wasn't a fan of the back and forth vocals on Painting With, but they somehow get it right on that track, even if I can't point my finger on exactly what it is

I just wish they'd have taken this approach in their last album. Sucks these songs were scrapped. I'm curious to know what other tracks got the boot as well. It would've been much better than what it was. Goalkeeper, while being the dud, is still better than 80% of Painting With

the only other tracks related to PW, Hounds of Bairro/Gnip Gnop, were released as a single and neither of them are that great so honestly it'd be cool if they just act like this record never happened in the future

i mean it's pretty common in the anco canon for the ep after to be just as good as the full length. due to the uncharacteristic repetitive nature of painting with this 4 song ep seems much fresher, but i'm sure if it was a 12 song release people would be just as critical

Haven't heard Painting With so can't compare but this is actually pretty decent.

I feel I'm a little too harsh on Painting With maybe. It's got 3 wonderful songs: "FloriDada," "The Burglars," and "Golden Gal," but then I remember the rest of it is utter garbage, especially "Hocus Pocus" and "Vertical"
