like johnald said, if you skip around instead of letting the piece develop slowly, you're just defeating the purpose

Conceptually interesting piece. It comes out to me as surprisingly evocative in that it did, when I started paying decent attention to it, set me in a sort of slightly off space where background noise becomes dense and complex enough that you sort of have to actually listen to it unfold.

all it does is mess up the avg for people who are into this kind of thing
