This was a lovely read Blushful, some really nice writing in here--especially a treat considering it's your longest piece yet. And I've been fully sold: I can't wait to give it a spin soon.
Here's some crit as per usual:
"(and potentially unintentional)" -- These parentheses are redundant, you're just being timid here
"there’s little catharsis, or deliverance, for the speaker" -- Blatant comma abuse here, both of them are superfluous.
"there's little relief, though undeniable comfort." -- Awkward phrasing; your thought could be elaborated on some.
"the songs ‘Good News’ as well as late album highlight ‘Rejoice’ " -- Would be a little more efficient as: 'Good News' and late album highlight 'Rejoice'
"Of course, this isn’t to argue that Sprained Ankle is a perfect album, or even close to one. Whilst much of Julien’s lyrics feel impassioned and genuine, the way in which she writes of love and death at times appear as platitudes." -- should unequivocally be:

Thank you so much, Kyle... I really, really appreciate that. Wow, I was excited. Well, there's a studio recording of Funeral Pyre floating around on Spotify and such. I don't think there's been news of it from Julien herself, but her social media presence is always quite thin as far as I'm aware. Since there's no real special occasion for the release of a single, I'm willing to bet an album will be announced in the next few weeks.
