yeah, the debut was a good listen to get started with melodeath back in the day but as time went on it was a lot easier to disect the flaws: heavily uninspired riffs, abhorent mixing especially on the harsh vocals, lyrics clearly trying to fit a scene and be edgy, etc. Following two albums were on the same level for me, both very mid with a couple of songs on each that I'd return to. Everything after was an abonimation
