Fugue would make for a perfect music video from Chris Cunningham.

This album is like the unhinged chaos of Calculating, the melodic side of MM, the experimentation of Ire Works, the cohesion of OP and the hook driven sensibilities of OUITK.

Damn, this just keeps surprising me even more with every listen.

I love how important this album feels, it has so many surprising elements to it, and damn I am so overwhelmed by Greg's high pitch screams on this album, it feels little bit more diverse, yet it feels like one of the most focused albums by these guys

i feel it has more surface-level passion than any other dillinger release, but its kind of got that ire works curse imo, better than that album, but just as inconsistent. idk maybe its gotta grow its dense as hell

theres just songs i dont like

but with anything that could change. so many current faves of mine is stuff i didnt like initially

not including low feels in their setlist (based on the one online) is a MISTAKE. already one of my favorite dillinger songs tbh i think ive listened to that one ten times today at work lol

“For the first time, Dillinger wrote and recorded far more material than has ended up on the record and [guitarist Ben] Weinman is adamant that these songs will see the light of day at some point. Plans to release all the material as a double album were scrapped early on in the interests of making a cohesive album rather than simply throwing everything the band had available in to the mix.”

I second that, low feels should definitely be in their setlist. But they included Surrogate, so whatever.
