"Bad attempts at trolling. I was going to justify my opinion, but with a comment like BlackMalachite's, it was an obvious goading attempt. But cheers Scuro."
So because I believe this band's message is pretentious, I'm trolling?

No, you completely miss my point and start comparing this to Blood on the Dance Floor. Like, how?
Again, I also think these guys are completely full of shit and have such an obnoxious aura around their music. However, I pointing out the ignorance for the fact people are completely trashing this album simply because of their image and pretentious nature; there are a few decent elements -- musically -- here. It has nothing to do with David's lyric writing, because we know that's trash, it's the various styles and experimentation within the tracks that make this a little bit better than the last LP. I'm not saying it's good, I'm just pointing out that credit should be given where it's due.

I personally don't find much or nay credit to give. That just boils down to subjectivity by the end of the day.

I wasn't directly comparing them to Blood on the Dance Floor (a band who actually has music that I enjoy), I was using them as a qualitative comparison for formatting. King 810 to a niche group of people has a lyrical message that said niche really does enjoy, but a lot of people outside of that niche can't get past the format.
It's the same case with Blood on the Dance Floor, they have a niche audience that does the same thing, but a lot of people can't get past the format. That's all I was using as a comparison.

Yeah but surely I break the format, because I hate the band. I'm not talking about niche's, or anything like that, I'm purely looking at the strengths of the record; and that is ultimately the eclectic styles on offer here. You don't like the album (not you personally), that's fine, but to say it's the worst thing this year is just strange to me, because it does try to and push the boat out in some ways, and in some ways succeeds.
