The fist Darke Complex album/EP(?) went pretty hard. These bands always seem to start off okay but then start copying the goofier shit that was around back then.

I've only heard one song from their debut and it went pretty hard, I'll check it out. Only heard like 3-4 songs from Darke but they were all from the new one and they sucked pretty hard so idk, if they're old stuff is worth checking I'll do it.

I checked out New Jesus, and I laughed my ass off. How does this album have a 3.5 average?

5.0 This band is getting the nu metal revival thing down to a pat better than most of the current crop.They proudly display influences such as Korn,Slipknot and maybe just a pinch of System Of a Down(?) yet do it organically rather than just trying to directly copy everything else of the nu metalcore current style.If this would of came out back in the early 00s it wouldn't of felt out of place which isn't a bad thing specifically for those who are worn out on the nu metal and metalcore hybrid bands coming out quiet often these days.This was my introduction which will remain my all time fav of them.2014 EP kicks ass well Their 2018 LP is no slouch either.

I just saw chug73's post that's awesome he knows Darke Complex they are also another cool genre revival band that are paying homage yet doing their own thing.Wasn't sure if anyone on this site knew about them.I didn't until I was on youtube searching for newer metal stuff of this variety an it came up and I didn't regret the search one bit.
