Yes, he does backing vox on 2 songs.... I was referring to this line in the review:

'Opening “TorcH” reminds me of some of the experimental (per say) production on Oxy’s “Hoover Street.” Kendrick produces the track and it’s a successful blend of gritty gangster noise accompanying influences found on something off of untitled unmastered.'

A lot of the production reminds me of TPAB/UntUnm but gangstafied.

Will definitely be giving this more listens since I've given this a lower rating then literally everyone and it seems that I don't exactly "get it" just yet.

Wait wtf new streetlight manifesto this year? I was not expecting a new one so soon. I know it's been three years but that's half the wait of a normal sm album

Also I couldn't dig this

The production on this is almost the star, but Q obviously still slaughters. Good review. I was actually really into his singing on By Any Means. It grooved so well with the rest of the song.

Also, this is really stacked with the features. All the singers (Particularly Anderson .Paak & SZA) came with some really good parts, and E-40's verse on Dope Dealer was pretty hilarious. Part of me wish the last half of Groovy Tony wasn't scrapped for the new material, but the new material was good.

I'm not sure what I think about the album yet. The production might be a little too abrasive for my taste esp since I've been consistently bumping YG's recent album lately. Didn't pull me in at the first listen like oxymoron did but I'll keep listening
