Bloom & Breathe is better but I like that they didn't just make v2.0 of it for this.

nah like I said in my review Bloom and Breathe was too reliant on the post rock cliches, this is way more original imo

yeah they did the post rock sound well that's for sure. it's just more inspiring to see a band find their own sound though even if they had a couple slip ups.

it's more original than Bloom and Breathe though. the sound is much more complex

I loved the instrumentation on Bloom & Breathe, but the dude's vocals sound way more fitting here, and the songwriting is more consistently interesting on this imo.

Bloom & Breathe sounded like a Moving Mountains copy to me. This however feels like Turnover's or Citizen's last albums, something you feel you know, that is entirely its own. Took me a while to fully apprechiate this one fully, but somehow I kept coming back to it again and again and just 'got it' more and more.

Also what you're saying about this one isn't reflected in your ratings, y'all seem to love it, so bump them numbers up!

it's easy to talk about the fantastic tracks on here which is why we are so positive but the boring tracks drag pretty hard and because of that I barely listen to this in full. I agree though that the sound they have on this album is much more original (something I talked about in my review).
