This has so many actually good moments which are ruined by "let's make this more dancecore by adding some stupid effect"-decisions. Heavy parts are also quite generic. The different aspects just don't fit together. Less would be more in this case. They should just stick to making ambient/electronic alt-pop like it is glimpsed in some sections here.

Completely agree. There are some genuinely good moments/songs on here, but it feels like they keep the metalcore stuff here for the sole reason of not alienating their old fans (not saying that I don't understand that decision though). I'm actually curious to see where this band goes from here. There next album could be something really good.

This is probably their best album so far. Never was a fan of their older material. This a lot more fleshed out. Probably the most sound band under the "electronicore" label. If that's a thing, still.
