I mean I can say the same exact thing. What you're saying is really ignorant and is so not true.

these kids who only rate dark side of the moon because they see it on so many lsits may not realize just how strong and varied floyd's discography really is, honestly
and yeah i am biased because i've been listening to them for decades
i like radiohead a good amount too though

How the fuck isn't it true? Look at the album sales. The tours. The fucking thousands of bands that not only cite Pink Floyd as an influence but that you can clearly pinpoint their sound within their music.
Like fuck off dude you're a moron log off

i mean certainly radiohead are closer to their prime than pink floyd, an endless river peaked number 1 on like every country's chart, this album has peaked on none except in the UK

Somebody is butthurt af lmao
Album sales were way better back then yeah
I can say the same thing about how many bands cite Radiohead as their influence lol
And in terms of longevity, it all has to do with generations

"an endless river peaked number 1 on like every country's chart, this album has peaked on none except in the UK"
you forget what site you're on? these kids are gonna be like "lol but it has a 3.1 average so it's shit even though i've never listened to it"

no you cant your fucking moron "lol"
yes floyd have been around longer so time will tell in terms of longevity but considering dsotm is still one of the best albums 43 years later and again the band that formed over 50 years ago is out selling the band that formed 30 years ago i find that hard to believe

this album is better than endless river IMO (though that albums underrated a bit) but that doesn't mean it's more popular or influential, which was the original discussion

im open to the idea that radiohead is more influential so im gonna make a list / poll (although considering the sputnik demographic is young af im not sure how accurate it will be but im curious anyway)
|
| |
it has less to do with age imo and more to do with the fact that 90% of them have only heard the same one or two floyd albums unfortunately
