As someone who has yet to listen to a Fallujah album, is the production honestly that terrible? Seems to be the most consistent comment on all threads.

I only ever heard a single here or there and wasn't too bothered, never dug into the albums though.

I thought it was really crappy on the The Flesh Prevails. The production here is much better, but it sounds kind of weak, imo. I don't think it's bad enough to deter listeners, but it is bad enough to notice and complain.

this is pretty disappointing songwriting-wise. Lacuna and only a couple others were standout tracks

after four listens i still can't tell the first 5 tracks apart besides the void alone

I feel like that with every metal album I've ever listened to. I sometimes literally have to listen to the song while staring at the song title so it registers in my brain.

i'm usually pretty good at picking up on highlights in different songs tho even if i don't know them by name, but it's hard to find highlights on this cause it all sounds so samey

'abandoned' i know now because its progressions are kinda cool, and 'amber gaze' cause it sounds like a TFP b-side (not a bad thing), and the closer has sweet tapping
