For me, this was the best since Self-Titled. I didn't find the production/mix to be as offesnsive as others did, apparently. It's a creative resurgence IMO - '17 Coked Up & Speeding', 'Bret Easton Ellis...', 'Rum' and 'Varicose Viasge' are favourites.
I will say, however, that the album cover is total trash. Jesus.

album is okay. grew on then grew off again for me. like six pretty good but not great songs and then six sort of forgettable songs just kind of washes out to "okay".

2.6?! Yikes. I'm not exaggerating at all here, and I'm not joking; this was sincerely one of my AOTY contenders. I love this whole thing. I think it's a fun album from beginning to end, and it appeals to the emotional punk side of my soul.

but seriously, this is worse than Anarchy. That was hapless, bland, and uninspired, but this is just aggressively bad. Props to you for being able to enjoy it, but I struggle to find anything of value here.
