Something about the production does breathe a surprising amount of life into some of the riffs. It's still not enough to save the album as a whole, but some songs sounded a lot more powerful than they should

I think one of the albums strongest qualities lies in its build-ups. As Scream said, the production definitely works in its favour, and I think most of the songs have a great pay off before they end.

I'd say that Apage Satana is the weakest track on that album. There's no real impact to it and it got boring pretty quickly.

actually liked this quite a lot in a pedestrian, mainstream approach to ritualistic metal kinda way. production isn't great tho and they seriously repeat some passages that shouldn't be repeated.
