the only sequel thats listed here is Black and White 2. Everything else here is treated as main series pokemon games and sales have been consistently high. Nothing you speak of makes a lick of sense Spado. Because if we remove spin-offs and sequels, Pokemon games are still selling 16, 17, 13, and 15 million units a pop. thats nowhere near "dying"

I was considering hg/ss and fr/lg as sequels along with bw2, though yes the correct term is remakes.

well, it was more like
14 > 17 > 15 > 13.
but do consider that people owned more gameboys and DS' and not as many people have a 3DS. Its a very unfair way to conclude it's in a "decline" because 1 million people didnt buy as many copies as the last game.

w/e my point is I hope it declines so they do something interesting in the series for once, the formula got stale. I hope they go back to the roots and make things darker/edgy.

It's a shame for BW2 because they were by far the best full games we have gotten that weren't a remake since D/P. XY fell into the same trap that BW did. You get to the post-game and you really don't care about the minimal things that are offered. Oh well.
I enjoy what I know of the actual score to this movie. Tears of Life is amazing. It captures the spirit of Pokemon/this movie better than any of these other tracks do.

And if they wanted to, they could definitely do a not stupid/edgy/T-rated Pokemon game. The Coliseum saga established a good idea (Pokemon being corrupted for evil purposes and the fact that I don't remember what those were obviously says that it was flawed), and I think Black and White definitely were on the right track for story. I remember Lysander from X and Y being a good antagonist despite a lackluster team.
If anything, I feel as if they considered the idea of a darker story not meant for kids, but felt conflicted because that defeats the purpose of Pokemon being meant for kids. It would probably be something a 6 year old would want but shouldn't play because it would be too complicated of a plot with more violent battle scenes (and for the sake of my point, let's just say that kids these days under 10 don't own GTA V even though they obviously do). Definitely leads to a reason as to why a game like this shouldn't exist. I still think they could do it right though and avoid issues. The games, although still great in my opinion, have fallen into a slump in terms of being the same exact concept every time. Any change to the 8-badges, elite 4/champion, and defeat evil team formula would be very much welcome.
