this is me registering mild surprise that there's only four pages on a joanna newsom album

well, i would tell you if my asshole coworker would lend me his earphones so i can listen to the second half of the album. but so far, i might like it better than Ys, which was a close 5 to me.



wouldve been a 5 if she scaled back her voice more and let the instruments breathe. with songs being around 10 minutes, one 16 minutes, youd think she would have a lot of instrumental breaks. i love her voice, but its there pretty much the whole time.
