really loving Warlords. Also, The Sleeping and the Dead grooves hard as fuck.

Free Fall is awesome. Also, that melody in Illuminate is sick as fuck. I like everything on The Sleeping and the Dead minus the cringe worthy djent crap.

Album has sunk a bit, like expected. These guys always manage to end up sounding fairly well no matter what they do lel. Highly doubt I'll ever like it as much as I like TWDA

This album is definitely growing on me in a good way

Well I liked this album quite a bit. It has the variety that twda lacked sorely. There are not only chugs, but actual songwriting is here too, not to mention the guitar solos. Too bad they're making a conscious effort to make their music more appealing to the mainstream though

Still think FreeFall is one of the best songs to hit my ears this year.

It's definitely top 3 on the album if not my favorite. I dig that electronic outro so hard

Better than the last one, but still not their best

I prefer the first two songs to Free Fall. I've been listening to this album quite a bit lately but I'm not sure how much I like it.

This is more instant gratification without lasting appeal. The first time I heard it, it was awesome but I'll probably move this down to a 3 or 2.5 after listening more than once. Free Fall is awesome and so is Resilience but a lot of it is somewhat similar to their last album while polishing it up with more synth. The Discovery is by far better in every way. But this is for sure a step up from TWDA (that was pretty terrible)

Is this worth a listen if you're kinda over the djent craze? I feel like everyone is talking about this album and I'm just like "I mean, maybe if I was still 17?"

Band has never been djenty imo, but they do chug a lot. But I'd say a chug is different than a djent. Kinda like a "jun jun" vs a "bow now".

Well, I really liked the intro track, Illuminate and at least two other tracks, can't recall what they were called right now
