that song is everything that sucked about monomania, just the most generic surf garage rock kinda bullshit ever

"Ad Astra" is my favorite here after the first listen.

I was starting to worry this was a slightly over generous rating but in preparation for watching them tonight I spun Deerhunter tunes in random and the songs off this stand out as some of their very best in that context.



Always a good test of how a band's current songs rate, the 4.5 still feels right
