Really? I find that song the most bland. Everything that's possibly good about overstays its welcome, that thrash riff leads to nowhere, and when they try to recreate the shoegaze/black metal swirly melodies they feel super contrived, like it's a Sunbather b-side.

Luna really does it for me. Brought to the Water has some solid parts, and then the remainder of the album is just forgettable.
The more I hear Deafheaven, the more I wish some of these gazey moments would just go away entirely. Especially on this album, the transitions can seem very abrupt and out of place.

it feels a little awkward like they tried to mix a lot of their basic elements, like the swirly guitars at the beginning and the chugging/transition to the swirly guitars again and the solo but it feels a little awkward. it's not a bad song
