I would have a hard time ranking their albums one by one tbh. For me it's kinda like
1. The Ride Majestic
2. TLI/Chainheart Machine/APP
3. Steelbath, NBC
4. Fucking sellout garbage (FN5, Stabbing)
5. The chorus melodies on this give me fucking cancer (Sworn)

you forgot the panic broadcast

Oh shit, right. I actually liked the panic broadcast quite a bit, add it under number 3 and push NBC down between 3 and 4
I mean NBC isn't bad, but there's something about the melodies used on that album that just makes me cringe. they're not cheesy, they just rub me the wrong way. i have a much easier time enjoying the panic broadcast

I like Stabbing more than Panic Broadcast tbh

Panic Broadcast actually has riffs, melodies and song structures tho, which for the life of me, I can't find on Stabbing :P
also enter dog of pavlov alone slays anything off stabbing, I think it was their best song all the way since follow the hollow, at least until the living infinite came out

I find it more memorable, quite a few songs in Panic Broadcast went in one ear and out the other.
Probably not as bad as what I think of In Flames.

Hahaha sure, they can hardly be compared anymore
but as for soilwork, I'll happily take the first three albums and the last three, while the middle four don't really do much for me. that's it in the nutshell

I always found panic broadcast to be a quite varied endavour, many standout tracks on there. Dog of pavlov prob is my fav soilwork song aswell

Well I used to jam the shit outta dog of pavlov, but then came the living infinite with many songs coming close in quality, while the stuff off the ride majestic might be even better
i mean check out alight in the aftermath. daaayum

Yeah I begin to think that the ride majestic might be better than their last one. Gn8 now I really have to sleep

I still think Living Infinite is slightly better. I feel like it gives out more of an experience than this.

Well if Scar Symmetry really sound like this album, then I better check them out

Sworn to a Great Divide is the worst produced album in my collection, which is a shame given that Devin Townsend produced the vocals. But that guitar sound is so bad.

Yeah the production on that album sucks hairy anus. 20 More Miles and Martyr are good songs tho.
StormChaser, check out Scar Symmetry's first album. it sounds like a better old Soilwork basically. And it kinda is like the ride majestic when it comes to the riffing patterns and intensity

Where did I say he's a God? I'm merely saying that if he produced everything, it wouldn't have sounded like such shit. Find me something he's produced that sounds worse than the Sworn to a Great Divide guitars, especially around that era.

he also produced natural born chaos and it rules soooo

I LOVED the Living Infinite... But this just isn't good. Too melodic and soft. No catchy choruses like we heard on on the Living Infinite with tracks like 'Tongue'' and 'Vesta'.
Just bland generic soft rock metal
