Album is almost a 5. Pretty much the pinnacle of modern pop punk, imo

The Wonder Years are the best modern pop punk band.
No Closer To Heaven is a fucking classic.

Agreed on the first bit more or less. That album is my fourth favorite of theirs though lol
|

How is it your fourth favorite when it's their best album?

I don’t like their alt rock side as much as their pop punk side. Suburbia > Greatest Gen > Upsides > No Closer > Sister Cities
I definitely understand liking that one most though

Meh I love it now. Listened to it at least 20 times back to back. Doesn't compete with this album, but it's not even attempting to so that doesn't bother me. The lyrics just vibe with me way too much, as I'm trying to find more songs to add to a playlist I'm making for my wife and I's upcoming reception and that track is literally perfect for that

Yeah, after getting over my initial disappointment, I looked at the lyrics and was like hey wait a minute ...!
The introduction of synth is pretty pointless and adds next to nothing tho. I certainly do not want an entire album in the vein of She's a God

One of the better pop punk albums in the scene. Too bad they could not follow this up.

You know an album is good when it gets better each time you revisit it. This is one of the keepers.
