Yeah, these new songs are not that good. Although I kinda enjoyed Lullaby.

Anyway, seeing them live on the 24th

Just came back from these guys' show and it was insane. Best show I've seen all year, and I've been to a lot. This even tops PUP as a live band, holy shit.

Frank doing all kinds of crazy stuff like walking, and at one point even doing a hand stand and rolling on top of the audience. But the most satisfying thing of the whole show was their new song "Modern Ruin", which is suppposedly the title track for their new album, coming out in January of next year. An absolute madhouse of a song, hardcore as fuck, as opposed to their latest singles "Lullaby" and "Snake Eyes". Which brings back my hope for the new album.

Another very special song was "Beautiful Death". After an intense set of songs they played this one, asking everyone to sit down. It was dead silent in the venue as he (and the guitarist) finished the song. By the end of it, mr. Carter had tears in his eyes. Absolutely brilliant show which I would reccommend to every fan of the genre ever.

A bit cynical. I will admit I prefer the debut stuff, but his new sound is still great.

I too, prefer the early stuff. But after last night and ''Modern Ruin'', I have hope their next album will be just as hard-hitting as this one.
